Nick Jonas has a hidden talent: he’s great at making drinks. Here, let him show you.

David J. Bertozzi for BuzzFeed

Recently we've learned that Nick Jonas is a pro at standing still with his shirt off, but did you know he's also really good at making cocktails? Yup, add mixologist to Nick Jonas' résumé, which is already filled with endless bullet points about his musical abilities — have you heard his new solo single "Jealous"? — and apparent acting chops.

Nick stopped by the BuzzFeed office to show off his drink-making talents, which began as nothing more than just a fun party trick: "I just sort of started messing around with it, found a few things that I liked, and shared them with friends," Nick told BuzzFeed. "Then it just sort of took off."

And so we present the following super-easy (and yes, super-boozy!) cocktail recipes, made up by Nick Jonas on the fly. Each recipe makes one drink.

The cheeky Nashville duo’s most ambitious single yet. Don’t call it a love song.

This is Cherub, a laidback electro-pop duo that makes droll party jams with a Nashville twist.

Kesha Accuses Producer Dr. Luke Of Sexual And Emotional Abuse In Lawsuit, Dr. Luke Countersues

$

The abuse began when she was just 18, the singer claims.

Kesha has sued super producer Dr. Luke, a longtime collaborator and founder of her record label Kemosabe Records, and accused him of sexual assault and battery, TMZ reports. The pop singer, 27, alleges Luke, born Lukasz Gottwald, 41, made her use drugs and forced himself on her sexually for years, beginning when he first signed her at age 18.

On one occasion, according to the suit obtained by TMZ, Luke gave Kesha what he called "sober pills" after forcing her to drink with him. The next afternoon, Kesha claims she woke up naked in Luke's bed, sore and with no recollection of what transpired the night before. On another occasion, Luke allegedly physically attacked her at his house in Malibu by "violently thrashing is arms at her," causing Kesha to flee barefoot into the mountains.

The suit also alleges that Luke verbally abused Kesha and repeatedly insulted her physical appearance, contributing to her struggle with an eating disorder.

The allegations are likely to ripple widely in the world of pop music, where Luke is viewed as a production god endowed with the gifts of King Midas. Along with mentor and frequent collaborator Max Martin, he is inarguably one the most powerful and prolific producers in the industry, with a resumé that reads like a history of the modern Billboard Hot 100.

For years, Luke has operated as a high-volume hit-factory for female pop stars like Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Jessie J and Kelly Clarkson. With his record label, Kemosabe records, a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment, he has helped launch the careers of Juicy J, Becky G and G.R.L., in addition to Kesha's.

In a statement to TMZ, Kesha's attorney Mark Geragos said the following: "This lawsuit is a wholehearted effort by Kesha to regain control of her music career and her personal freedom after suffering for ten years as a victim of mental manipulation, emotional abuse and an instance of sexual assault at the hands of Dr. Luke."

As a part of the suit, Kesha is reportedly seeking to be released from her recording contract with Luke.

Representatives for Dr. Luke have not yet responded to requests for comment.

Michael Kovac / Getty Images for Banana Republic

According to TMZ, Luke has responded to Kesha's allegations with a lawsuit of his own, claiming the singer is lying and tried to extort him. TMZ reports that Luke filed suit just hours after Kesha, claiming that she and her mother made up the abuse allegations against him in an attempt to get her out of her recording contract.

A Quick Reminder That Brandy Is A National Treasure

Still ~down~ 20 years later.

Let's rewind to 20 years ago, when a teenager named Brandy was popping off on the music scene and dropped "I Wanna Be Down," the lead single from her self-titled debut album. It was obvious she was on to something.

She delivered exactly the kind of music that teenaged girls everywhere needed in their lives. The type of music that soundtracked homecoming dances, soothed dorm room breakups and made you pop-lock in celebration for having finally told the hottest guy on campus that you kind of, sort of had a thing for him.

Already on her way to becoming a star, Brandy later released a remix version of "I Wanna Be Down" featuring Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, and Yoyo that was somehow even more flawless.

The remix gave her much-needed hip-hop street cred, elevating her from bubble gum pop singer to future reigning urban pop princess.

Now fast forward 20 years later to last night's BET Hip Hop Awards, when this happened:

There's Brandy, still clearly so... ~down~ (also: gorgeous).

"Dr. Luke Has Tortured Me And My Family": The Inside Story Of Kesha's Early Cries For Help

$

Nine months before her bombshell lawsuit accused super-producer Dr. Luke of date rape and other heinous acts, Kesha opened up about being abused in letters to fans discovered by BuzzFeed News.

Kevin Winter / Getty Images

Long known as pop music's beglittered and giddily irreverent party girl, Kesha stunned many in the music world with allegations in a lawsuit filed earlier this week that she had been raped and physically abused by Dr. Luke, the super-producer and mogul who shepherded her career beginning when she was still in high school. But not everyone was surprised by the news. Annie Gallo, an 18-year-old college student from Virginia, is one of a handful of individuals who learned of Luke's allegedly abusive tendencies as early as January of this year, in a letter from Kesha herself.

Gallo's letter, apparently written by Kesha during her well-publicized stint in rehab for an eating disorder, goes beyond accusing Dr. Luke of spurring on the disorder — he allegedly said she "looked like a refrigerator" — to refer to untold other sins she won't allow herself to name.

"Dr. Luke has tortured me & my family… he did do what people know about + SO much more terrible shit," Kesha writes.

In another letter, this one to Kelly Mullins, a 16-year-old fan also from Virginia, Kesha references "someone [she] work[s] with" who had become a tormentor and the source of her anguish. "Someone I work with has literally driven me into this disease, tortured me and fucked with me and my family."

BuzzFeed News discovered five such letters on social media, all apparently written while Kesha was in rehab, and confirmed the authenticity of three of them with recipients who agreed to be interviewed. All of the letters reference pain and suffering caused by someone in Kesha's inner circle, with two of them, including Gallo's, referring to Dr. Luke by name. See the letters below along with a sample of Kesha's handwriting shared with iHeartRadio in 2013.

After releasing a string of strong and evocative teasers, her debut 6-track EP, Generation Blue, is out today. Produced with Robin Hannibal of Rhye, it sounds sumptuous and a little risqué, like a moonlit rendezvous with a secret lover.

Place your bets in our poll!

The business of selling albums, typically grim, is looking up this week thanks to one Taylor Alison Swift, America's BFF, whose new album 1989 has crash-landed at retailers like Christmas in October.

Early estimates pegged the album as selling ~800,000 copies in its first week. But after a better-than-expected first day on sale, Billboard updated its forecast, saying industry sources were indicating that 1989 would sell "at least one million copies."

Swift's last two albums, 2012's Red and 2010's Speak Now also sold over one million copies in their first weeks — 1.2 million and 1,047,000, respectively.
